Month of Service

The Month of Service aims to raise civic engagement by publicizing co-sponsored events across campus while offering exciting, one-time opportunities for students as an entry-point into participation in long-term volunteer programs. This program also highlights the Campus Community Challenge (3C) logging system on ccc.tigerapps.org that aims to track the number of hours of community service performed by the undergraduate community.

The inaugural Month of Service in April 2012 led to greatly increased use of the logging system resulting in over 1700 hours logged during the month compared to the just under 2000 hours that had been logged between the debut of the system in November 2010 and the beginning of the April Month of Service in 2012.

Please check back in October for more information on this year’s Month of Service which will take place in the fall!
