Writing at Princeton: Beyond the Five-Paragraph Essay

This 90-minute workshop, led by a Writing Seminar instructor and an undergraduate Writing Center fellow, will introduce you to the fundamentals of academic writing, including:

• How to identify a compelling question or problem about the evidence you’re working with
• How to craft an arguable thesis about that question or problem
• How to position yourself in relation to your sources
